Refund policy
Order Cancellations
Every House of Ayurveda product is made to order - the moment you place your order, our artisans begin crafting your piece by hand. Because of this, cancellations are only possible within 24 hours of placing your order, or before the item enters production, whichever comes first. Once production has begun, we are unable to cancel or modify your order.
If you need to cancel, please contact us immediately at hello@houseofayurveda.co. We will do our best to accommodate requests made within the eligible window.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can resolve the issue promptly.
• Email hello@houseofayurveda.co with your order number, 4 - 5 clear photos of the damage, and a short video demonstrating the issue.
• If approved, we will send a free replacement at no extra cost, or issue a full refund at our discretion.
Damage claims submitted beyond 7 days of delivery may not be eligible for resolution.
Returns & Restocking Fee
We offer a 30-day return consideration period from the date of confirmed delivery. All returns are subject to eligibility review - approval is not automatic and is contingent on the conditions below. Please note that because every item is handcrafted to order, we strongly encourage all customers to review product dimensions, descriptions, and FAQs carefully before purchasing.
To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:
• The item must be completely unused and in pristine condition, with zero signs of handling or use.
• All original packaging must be fully intact - including inner wrapping, tissue, branded inserts, and the outer box. Damaged, torn, or missing packaging will result in automatic rejection.
• A clear unboxing photo or video must be submitted at the time of your return request, showing the item and packaging exactly as received.
• A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
• Used products cannot be returned due to hygiene and craftsmanship integrity concerns.
Important:
House of Ayurveda does not provide prepaid return labels. Customers are responsible for selecting their preferred shipping carrier and covering all return shipping fees. All approved returns are also subject to a $25 USD restocking fee per order, which will be deducted from your refund amount upon approval. Items sent back without prior written approval will not be accepted.
Please note that all our products are manufactured and shipped directly from India. As a result, any approved returns must be sent back to our India-based return address. The complete return address and instructions will be provided by our support team once your return request is approved.

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval or rejection. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of inspection completion.
• Please note that your bank or credit card provider may require additional time to post the refund.
• Original shipping fees are non-refundable under any circumstance.

Warranty Coverage
House of Ayurveda products are built for durability and long-lasting performance. Our warranty covers manufacturer's defects but does not apply to damage caused by:
• Improper use or care (including excessive heat, neglect, or misuse).
• Use of sharp or metal utensils on coated or polished surfaces.
• Improper cleaning or failure to follow care instructions.
• Normal cosmetic wear over time (e.g., minor discoloration, surface patina).
